Committees

With the exception of the Activities committee, committee members are a part of the committee for the remainder of the current board’s term (until the annual election).

Architectural Review Committee

Purpose:  The purpose of this committee is to review all requests from homeowners wanting to add new or change existing structures on their properties, e.g.: sheds, fences. Purpose:  The purpose of this committee is to review all requests from homeowners wanting to add new or change existing structures on their properties, e.g.: sheds, fences.

Responsibilities:  This committee will be responsible for approving or denying all requests for new or changed structural elements to properties. These decisions will be based solely on compliance to the existing covenants. Any request not covered by the covenants will be discussed among the committee members, who will establish new guidelines, present them to the board for approval, then make a decision based on BOD input and existing covenants.  The committee meets periodically in person and communicates via email.

Activities Committee

Purpose: Coordinate, schedule and plan, as well as oversee community events, that will be open to entire Myers Mill neighborhood, to help create connections with fellow neighbors. Purpose: Coordinate, schedule and plan, as well as oversee community events, that will be open to entire Myers Mill neighborhood, to help create connections with fellow neighbors.

Responsibilities:  Work together with the Chairman, as well as committee members to schedule, plan, and organize events in the community. The committee meets in person monthly and communicates primarily through Facebook.

Nature Trail Preservation Committee

Purpose:  Help maintain and beautify the nature trail within the Myers Mill Community. Purpose:  Help maintain and beautify the nature trail within the Myers Mill Community.

Responsibilities:  Work together with Chairman and committee members to a plan and process to help clean up the Nature trail and surrounding wetlands.  Work with the community to begin the work in a safe and orderly manner.  The committee will meet monthly once established and communicate primarily through Facebook.
